The Cordoba Center

Serving Southern Santa Clara County
A project of the South Valley Islamic Community

Place to Gather and Worship

The Cordoba Center is a project of South Valley Islamic Community (SVIC). SVIC has made its home in San Martin since 2001 and currently represents about 100 Muslim families in South County—many of whom have lived here for generations. SVIC is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization established in 1999.

The Cordoba Center is a master-planned project on a 16-acre site in San Martin that will include a mosque, community center, youth retreat, and Muslim cemetery. It will provide a place for Muslim families who live and work in southern Santa Clara County to gather for worship, education, and social events.

The Cordoba Center has been designed in a rustic Spanish-Andalusian architecture. It will be a beautiful, state-of-the-art, and eco-friendly facility that will preserve and enhance the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
